These two works are based around perspective and portraiture. The acrylic painting represents a tree's point of view and how it would depict me in a portrait. The mixed media illustration is my point of view capturing a portrait of the tree. When creating these, I kept in mind the elements around me, like the smoldering heat, main focal points, and the bright beaming sun. This was a project I made for my Narrative Figure Drawing class and it challenged me to see outside of my perspective in a way I've never tried before.
